Our mentoring services are unique and are designed to help people progress into work. We provide Mentoring to residents of London and Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
What is mentoring?
Mentoring is most often defined as a professional relationship in which an experienced person (the mentor) assists another (the mentoree) in developing specific skills and knowledge that will enhance the other person’s professional and personal growth. Our Mentoring is a form of Life Coaching and we use a blend positive psychology and traditional careers coaching to create a therapeutic and step-by-step focussed set of sessions of 4 or more.
What does a mentor do?
The following are among the mentor’s functions:
Teaches the mentoree about a specific issue regarding finding work
Coaches the mentoree on a particular skill
Facilitates the mentoree’s growth by sharing resources and networks
Challenges the mentoree to move beyond his or her comfort zone
Creates a safe learning environment for taking risks
Focuses on the mentoree’s total development
Costs
Mentoring is free to those unemployed and on Benefits who are registered with one of our referring DWP partners.
